The Piper stands on four self-centering feet that screw into its body. They hold the laser on the centreline of the pipe, and their length sets the elevation for that pipe size. The 746163 is the foot for 9 in (225 mm) pipe.

The 9 in size is also in the Leica 6016066 Piper green accessory package, as a set of four.
