About JED-EYE

JED-EYE is a specialized measurement application for mobile elevated platform (MEP/cherry picker) operators. It connects to Leica DISTO devices to capture precise measurements at elevation — enabling operators to document structural conditions, capture as-built data, and record clearances while working at height.

Using JED-EYE with the DISTO X6

The DISTO X6's Bluetooth 5.0 connection streams measurements directly to JED-EYE as work is performed at elevation. The ability to capture laser measurements from an aerial work platform — to structural elements, overhead utilities, and building features — reduces the number of lifts required and improves measurement accuracy in complex overhead environments.
