It operates as a virtual keyboard — measurements appear wherever your cursor is positioned, in any application. A plugin for AutoCAD and BricsCAD enables direct line length input, eliminating manual entry entirely.

Using Leica DISTO Transfer Software with the DISTO X6

Connect the DISTO X6 to your Windows PC via Bluetooth and open any application — AutoCAD, Excel, Word, estimation software, or any app that accepts keyboard input. When you fire the DISTO, the measurement streams directly to the cursor position. The AutoCAD/BricsCAD plugin maps measurements to drawing lines, reducing drafting time significantly. Real-time WiFi transfer of any number of measured points is also supported for larger datasets.
