Why Carbon Fiber?
Your crew hauls this thing from jobsite to jobsite, in and out of vehicles, up and down stairs. Every pound matters. Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer (CFRP) gets you to the same rigidity as aluminum at a fraction of the weight — and stiffness that fiberglass can't match at any weight.
Standard Aluminum
Solid workhorse, but heavy for all-day carry. Flexes slightly under load — fine for basic surveying, but adds uncertainty for high-accuracy scanning.
CFRP Carbon Fiber
Significantly lighter than aluminum. Maximum rigidity means zero flex at scanner height. 4-section design packs under 2 feet. Designed from scratch for laser scanner workflows.
Fiberglass
Heavier than carbon fiber, less rigid. Better than aluminum in some respects but can't match CFRP's strength-to-weight ratio for precision instrument work.

Universal Scanner Compatibility
Interchangeable head insert ships with BOTH 5/8" and 3/8" connection threads. Works with Leica, Faro, Trimble, Matterport, and virtually every scanner on the market. No adapters needed.
Combi Feet — Any Surface
Purpose-built combi tripod feet handle both smooth indoor floors and rough outdoor terrain without swapping. From polished concrete to cobblestone, you're set up and scanning in seconds.
Adjustable Slip Guard
3-position slip guard prevents leg spread on smooth floors. Set it tight for polished tile or glass, ease off for gravel or dirt. Your scanner stays where you put it.
4-Section Compact Legs
Four leg sections collapse to just 1′ 11.2″ — under 2 feet. Fits in a truck bed, equipment case, or overhead bin without special handling. Extends to full working height fast with positive-locking clips.
Large & Small Top Plates
5.5" (140mm) large plate for maximum scanner stability. 2.9" (74mm) small plate included for compact instruments. Both ship in the box — no upsell required.
Softgrip Foam Handles
Two legs feature softgrip foam handles for secure one-hand carry. Built-in spirit level for fast leveling at every setup. Padded carrying bag and three hex keys included.
