A stable platform for surveying and layout
The NTP12 secures your prism pole so it holds position while you shoot. The adjustable legs extend from 48 to 72 inches and lock with clamp locks, and the pointed steel feet dig into soil or rough terrain to prevent shifting. On the flat head, the twist-knob lock and grip-and-slide control make fine adjustments quick and easy.
The flat head accommodates prism poles up to 1.25 inches in diameter.
How tall is it?
The legs extend from 48 inches collapsed to 72 inches (6 feet).
How do I lock the legs and the pole?
The legs lock with clamp locks. A twist-knob lock and a grip-and-slide control on the head let you position the pole, make fine adjustments and tighten it down.
Will it stay put on rough ground?
The pointed steel feet dig into soil or rough terrain, so the tripod resists shifting during measurement.
Does it come with a prism pole?
No. The NTP12 is the tripod only. Use it with your own prism pole up to 1.25 inches in diameter.
Why use a prism pole tripod?
It holds the pole steady and plumb hands-free, so one person can run the total station and keep shots repeatable.
