The part
Start The Beam On Line In Metric Pipe.
The 1237 is Spectra’s metric invert plate. The pipe laser sits on it in the invert, and the plate centers the laser in 250, 300 and 400 mm diameter pipe so the beam starts on the pipe’s centreline.
It is the metric twin of the 1230, which does the same job in 10, 12 and 15 inch pipe. Add the 1239 vertical pole to set up on the manhole floor.

1230 or 1237, which do I need?
Match your pipe. Metric pipe (250, 300, 400 mm) takes the 1237; inch pipe (10, 12, 15 inch) takes the 1230.
Can I set up on the manhole floor?
Add the 1239 vertical pole and the plate becomes a trivet for set-ups on the manhole bottom, outside the manhole, or in pipe too large for the plate alone.
