What does the elevating head do?
Set the legs, then raise or lower the centre column to put the laser at the exact height you want without moving the legs.
What thread is the head?
5/8 x 11 flat head, the standard thread for construction lasers and instruments.
Will it fit in the large Spectra system case?
No. The only tripod that fits inside the 128995-00 large system case is the Q104025.
