Green Laser — Enhanced Visibility
The green laser dot is four times more visible to the human eye than red laser — especially important in bright environments and outdoors. At 518nm, the green beam sits at the peak of human visual sensitivity, making the dot easy to see across the full measurement range.
Measures up to 120m (400 feet) in favorable conditions, 70m (230 feet) in unfavorable bright conditions. The green laser gives you confidence that you're hitting your target every time.

Smart Room — Accurate Floor Plans
With Smart Room, measure a room by taking diagonal measurements from corner to corner. The D2G-2 automatically transfers these measurements to the free DISTO Plan app via Bluetooth or NFC, where the app constructs an accurate floor plan — no sketching required.
DISTO Plan (iOS and Android) lets you export floor plans, add dimensions, and share with clients or contractors. The app is free and requires no subscription.

Smart Horizontal Mode
Smart Horizontal Mode combines a direct distance measurement with the built-in 360° tilt sensor to automatically calculate the true horizontal distance. This means you can aim at a point on a sloped ceiling, staircase, or uneven surface and get the correct horizontal measurement without any trigonometry or manual calculation.

Smart Multifunctional End-Piece
The D2G-2 features a uniquely designed multifunctional end-piece that folds to two positions for versatile measurements. Fold once for measuring from edges and flat surfaces. Fold twice for measuring from inside corners with precision.
The device automatically detects which position the end-piece is in and adjusts the reference point accordingly — zero offset error, zero guesswork. This combined with the 360° inclination sensor means every measurement is reliable regardless of orientation.
