The Overview
Get Your Laser Where It Needs to Be.
Most laser poles are fixed, flimsy, or a pain to set up. The PLP12 is none of those things. Five modular aluminum sections screw together in under two minutes. A spring-loaded base locks to any flat surface instantly. Extend to exactly the height your job needs — anywhere from ground level to 13.5 feet — then lock it in.
The 1/4" threaded mount at the top fits any standard line laser, rotary laser, or point laser. The built-in bubble level on the mount means you're leveled before you even turn the laser on. Every section is marked every half inch, inch, six inches, and foot so you can hit the exact height every time without measuring.
Packaged with a carrying bag that fits the disassembled pole, mount, and base. Deploy it in two minutes. Pack it in two minutes. Show up to the next job ready.
Five modular sections extend to 13.5 feet — markings every half inch for precise height control
Why PLP12
Built for the Way Contractors Actually Work.
Every detail of the PLP12 exists to get your laser positioned and your job started faster.
Modular 5-Section Design
Four 2-foot sections plus one 1-foot section screw together seamlessly. Take only the sections you need for the height you want. No telescoping friction, no wobble — solid aluminum thread-lock connection every time.
Full-Length Laser Movability
The mount isn't locked to the top — it moves up and down the full length of the assembled pole. Place your laser at exactly the height you need, not just at the top. The modular design lets the mount ride any section.
Spring-Loaded Base
The base uses a spring tension system that grips flat surfaces instantly. No clamps, no screws, no anchoring required. Set it down, release tension, and it holds. One motion to secure, one motion to pack up.
Bubble Level Mount
The 1/4" laser mount includes a built-in bubble level. Level the mount before the laser touches it and the laser levels instantly. Works with any self-leveling or manual laser. Never fight the level on the job again.
Lightweight Aluminum
The entire assembly — all five sections, base, and mount — is lightweight aluminum. Carry it in one hand. Move it between rooms without breaking down the assembly. Durable enough for the job site, light enough to not care about it.
Precise Inch Markings
Every section is marked every 1/2", 1", 6", and 12". Set your laser height to the exact measurement your plans call for without guessing or measuring twice. Repeat the same height on every job.
In the Field
See It Work on Real Job Sites.
From framing to tile to commercial layout — the PLP12 holds your laser exactly where you need it.
Interior Layout — Mount any line laser and project reference beams across the entire room from a single stable position
Jobsite Ready — Lightweight aluminum construction moves with you from floor to floor, room to room, without slowing down
Solid Assembly — Threaded section connections eliminate flex and wobble at any height. Locks down tighter than telescoping poles
How It Works
Set Up in 3 Steps. Under 2 Minutes.
No tools, no complexity. The PLP12 goes from bag to working laser position faster than any other pole on the market.
1
Assemble Your Sections
Thread the sections together in the order you need — use all five for maximum height or fewer sections for lower positions. Each section screws together in seconds with a solid aluminum thread connection. No tools, no clips.
2
Mount Your Laser
Thread your 1/4" laser onto the mount, slide the mount to the height you need on the pole, and use the built-in bubble level to level the mount. Compatible with any line laser, rotary laser, or point laser with a 1/4" thread.
3
Set Base Tension & Work
Place the spring-loaded base on a flat surface and apply tension using the tension rod. The base grips instantly without anchoring. Power on your laser and start working. Move the entire assembly between positions without breaking it down.
Compatibility
Works With Any 1/4" Thread Laser.
The PLP12 mount uses the industry-standard 1/4" thread. If your laser has a 1/4" thread on the bottom, it works with the PLP12.
Plott PLL30-G
3×360 Green Line Laser — mount directly via 1/4" thread and project all three planes at any height
Line Lasers
Any line laser with 1/4" thread compatibility — Bosch, DeWalt, Spectra, Topcon, Leica and more
Rotary Lasers
Compatible with small rotary lasers using 1/4" thread mounts. Extend the working range by getting the laser off the floor

Questions & Answers
Common Questions
If your line laser has a 1/4" threaded socket on the bottom, it will thread directly onto the PLP12 mount. This covers the vast majority of line lasers on the market including Plott, Bosch, DeWalt, Spectra Precision, Topcon, and Leica. If you're unsure, call us at 1-877-866-5721 and we'll confirm before you order.
The threaded section connections lock each section rigidly — there's no telescoping friction that loosens over time. The spring-loaded base provides solid ground contact. At 13.5 feet, you'll have more stability than most telescoping poles at 8 feet. For extreme environments with wind or vibration, we recommend using the padded topper against a wall for lateral support.
Yes. The mount slides up and down the full length of the assembled pole, not just the top section. This means if you've assembled all five sections but only need the laser at 7 feet, the mount positions there without you having to disassemble. The inch markings on every section let you position precisely.
The base is designed for flat and near-flat surfaces. For mildly uneven surfaces, minor shimming under the base can level it out. The bubble level on the mount helps confirm that the laser itself is level regardless of slight base variations. For significantly uneven terrain, a tripod may be a better option — we can help you find the right one.
The PLP12 is designed to be lightweight enough to carry and reposition with one hand. All-aluminum construction keeps the weight down across all five sections. The carrying bag makes transporting the full disassembled kit easy between job sites — everything fits, nothing gets lost.
