Spectra Precision GR153 Aluminum Grade Rod — metric. A 15 foot five-section telescoping aluminum rod graduated in metres and centimetres. It is the metric member of the Spectra grade rod family, and apart from the graduations it is the same rod as the GR151 and GR152.
The three rods, side by side. The only thing that really separates them is what is printed on the face — so buy the one that matches the units your job is quoted in, and nothing else about the choice matters.

Five sections telescope and lock with polycarbonate buttons, so the rod holds its extension while you read it. The sections are anodized and silk-screened, which is why the graduations survive being wet and dragged out of a truck. A carrying bag is included.
It works with any Spectra laser and receiver. A grade rod is not tied to a model — your receiver clamps to it and you read the number off the rod. It is the rod you stand on the grade, whatever laser is turning on the tripod. And it fits inside the 128995-00 system case, so it travels with the kit instead of loose in the truck.
Replacing a lost or damaged rod, or adding a metric rod to a Spectra LL1505C laser kit? This is the one. If your work is quoted in feet, buy the GR152 (feet and inches) or the GR151 (tenths of a foot) instead — a metric rod on a job priced in feet is a mistake you only make once.
