iDig SpotMan — CT140T
One receiver. Machine, rover or base station.
The GNSS receiver on its own, with tilt compensation built in. Bolt it to the machine for 2D+ and 3D, thread it on a pole to shoot points, or stand it up as your own RTK base station and stop paying a correction service. Centimetre accuracy either way.
Part # CT140T · Condition: New · Authorized iDig dealer
Three jobs, one unit
Detach it and it becomes something else
iDig's own description is “detachable and versatile — mount on an excavator for machine guidance, use as a rover for surveys and staking, or convert into a GNSS base station to broadcast RTK corrections.” That is not three products. It is this one, moved.
On the machine
2D+ and 3D guidance
Mounted on the excavator or loader, it supplies the height reference that lets an iDig CONNECT system run 2D+ or 3D. This is the piece that removes the rotary laser from the job, and the piece a skid steer cannot work without.
On a pole
Survey and stakeout
Thread it onto a survey rod and shoot points, stake out, measure distances and locate buried services. The 200 Hz tilt sensor corrects up to 30° of pole lean, so you can put the tip where the point is — in a trench, against a wall — without levelling anything.
On a tripod
Your own RTK base
In fixed-station mode it broadcasts corrections over UHF to a second receiver. Own the base and there is no monthly correction service, and it keeps working where there is no cell signal at all.
What you are buying
The receiver, and what it needs around it
This listing is the receiver on its own. It is the right buy when you already own a pole, a tripod and a data collector, or when you are adding a second unit to serve as your base station. If you need the pole, the rugged tablet, iPoint software and the backpack as well, that is the Rover Kit — linked below.

SpotMan GNSS Rover Kit — CT140T-K

The machine control systems this receiver feeds. 2D runs off a rotary laser; adding this receiver is what makes an excavator 2D+, and it is what a skid steer needs in order to run at all.
