The Leica Rugby 640 works horizontally, vertically and at 90°, with manual slope in both axes and a scan mode, for interior and exterior layout. Choose the red beam Rugby 640 or the green beam Rugby 640G, which is easier to see in bright light. Every kit pairs the laser with a Rod Eye receiver and the laser carrying case.

What is the Leica Rugby 640?

What is the difference between the Rugby 640 and the 640G?
The beam. The 640 uses a red 635 nm beam; the 640G uses a green 520 nm beam, which is easier for the eye to see in bright conditions. Both are Class 2.
How far do the Rugby 640 and 640G reach?
With the Rod Eye 140 or 160 the 640 works to 2,000 ft diameter and 1,650 ft with the Rod Eye 120. The 640G works to 1,300 ft diameter with the Rod Eye 120G.
Can I control the Rugby 640 from a distance?
Yes. It works with the Leica RC400 remote control to 650 ft (200 m).
