Topcon RL-H5A TOP FEATURES
The Topcon RL-H5A auto-leveling laser level combines precision, versatility and value in one job site tough package. Its super-fast self-leveling motors are accurate to +/-10 arc seconds meaning whether you're checking grade or setting batter boards you are going to be accurate the first time. Its high-power 2.4mW diode means you have a 2,600' diameter working range (with detector use) making it a great reference for machine mounted receivers. The 635nm visible beam means it can even be used for interior alignment applications from setting piers and decking, to wall and even cabinet alignment. All of these features makes the Topcon RL-H5A Laser more than twice the laser offered by anyone else.

With the added "Slope Matching" feature, check grade on all your flat and slope work. The 600 rpm rotation speed makes the Topcon RL-H5A a great match with any machine mounted laser sensor.
EASY TO USE With electronic self-leveling you press the power button and go right to work in seconds. If the TOPCON RL-H5A gets disturbed on the job it re-levels itself automatically. The Self-Leveling motors are accurate to ± 10 arc seconds.
LONG RANGE OPERATION Need to shoot elevations up to 1,300 feet from your laser? No problem, this TOPCON RL-H5A has a workable power and range of 2,600 feet diameter on the jobsite.

What if I forget to charge the batteries?
The laser also runs on four D-cell alkaline batteries, up to 100 hours. Keep a set of alkaline D-cells in the truck as a back-up so a dead pack never ends your day. Alkaline batteries are not included.
How long do the batteries last?
The laser runs up to 60 hours per charge on the rechargeable batteries and up to 100 hours on alkaline.
What does the LS-80X show?
The beam position on an LCD on both sides of the receiver, with an audible tone, fine or coarse sensitivity and a height alert.
Can I use the RL-H5A with a machine-mounted receiver?
Yes. At 600 RPM it is a good match for machine-mounted laser receivers on dozers, excavators and skid steers.
How does the RL-H5A level itself?
Press the power button and the electronic self-leveling motors level the beam to ±10 arc seconds. If the laser is bumped it re-levels automatically.
Is the RL-H5A waterproof?
It carries an IP66 dust and water rating, so it can handle dust, a sudden shower and heavy rain.
What is the difference between the RL-H5A RB and DB?
RB packages include rechargeable batteries and a charger. DB packages run on dry alkaline batteries. See the series comparison on this page.
