Topcon RL-H5A TOP FEATURES

The Topcon RL-H5A auto-leveling laser level combines precision, versatility and value in one job site tough package. Its super-fast self-leveling motors are accurate to +/-10 arc seconds meaning whether you're checking grade or setting batter boards you are going to be accurate the first time. Its high-power 2.4mW diode means you have a 2,600' diameter working range (with detector use) making it a great reference for machine mounted receivers. The 635nm visible beam means it can even be used for interior alignment applications from setting piers and decking, to wall and even cabinet alignment. All of these features makes the Topcon RL-H5A Laser more than twice the laser offered by anyone else.

No. This package uses (4) D-cell alkaline batteries in the laser, which are not included. Run time is up to 100 hours on alkaline.

How long do the batteries last?

The laser runs up to 100 hours on alkaline batteries.

What does the LS-100D show?

A digital readout of elevation on bright LCDs front and rear, 9 channels of grade information and the distance to on-grade, with a Hold button to lock the reading. Three colored LEDs and a magnet mount are built in.

Can I use the RL-H5A with a machine-mounted receiver?

Yes. At 600 RPM it is a good match for machine-mounted laser receivers on dozers, excavators and skid steers.

How does the RL-H5A level itself?

Press the power button and the electronic self-leveling motors level the beam to ±10 arc seconds. If the laser is bumped it re-levels automatically.

Is the RL-H5A waterproof?

It carries an IP66 dust and water rating, so it can handle dust, a sudden shower and heavy rain.

What is the difference between the RL-H5A RB and DB?

RB packages include rechargeable batteries and a charger. DB packages run on dry alkaline batteries. See the series comparison on this page.

Everything works as it should.
Seems to be a high quality unit that should last a long time.
I had an issue with the level rod getting damaged during the shipping process. I contacted the seller and they sent me a replacement part in a prompt manner.
I would purchase items from this seller again.
